This coming Friday the 25th HallPass is coming out, starring Owen Wilson and Jason Sudeikis, which is one of my favorite movies I’ve ever worked on (as the nutritionist- not an actor of course!). It is going to be hilarious and you must all go see it!!
I happened to be around the day of the photoshoot (Bringing Owen his Glowing Green Smoothie), and since both Owen and Jason know me and were comfortable with me, the photographer thought it would be a brilliant idea to use me as an “eyeline” for the photoshoot. So next thing I knew, I was marching around up and down on set so great, natural pictures could be taken of the guys!
It was just impossible for me to not crack up and stop laughing with Owen and Jason- their facial expressions and little comments were tooooo funny. 🙂 I love them, and you will love the movie! So go check out Hall Pass this Friday Feb. 25th or Saturday the 26th!!
And why not try to sneak up some good desserts into the theater, instead of those processed snacks!
Lots of love,
I think that is so very cool
So cool! I love Owen Wilson and literally just finished watching “You, Me, & Dupree” with my husband a few minutes ago. You look beautiful in those shots!
You look so pretty and healthy and happy. Congrats:)
That’s great, Kimberly! How fun!
On a separate note, I told my acupuncturist about how I have a green smoothie for breakfast every day. He told me that I shouldn’t be drinking something so cold so early in the day (actually, drinking cold things should be avoided, in general). He recommended getting it closer to room temperature before drinking it, which is fair. And he also recommended chewing while drinking it. What are your thoughts on this? Thank you!
I kind of “chew” my smoothie a bit. Cold drinks bother my stomach, and this not only warms them up a bit, but also allows your saliva to do a bit of the work of digesting as it’s meant to. I definitely think it makes it a bit easier for me to digest. Also, if you blend it longer it will warm up some just from the action of the blender.
Hey Kim….Did you ever get the picture you and Cj took with Owen the day we was there??I’d love to see it!!

You look amazing, Kimberly!
Question for you: What is the purpose of a nutritionist on a movie? Did the actors need to lose weight or did your greens smoothies give them energy throughout a long day of filming?
In any case, Owen Wilson looks alot more fit and refreshed in this film than I’ve ever seen him look!
That looks awesome!!
I have a question abt a subject I dont believe youve addressed on your blog – sunspots. Over the last 5-7 years, I’ve developed a ton of them on my face. I suspect this is due to sun exposure, poor eating, and low water consumption. The latter two I am in the process of fixing. But do you recommend any particular sunblock for the face and any methods of reducing/removing existing sunspots?? Thanks!
I’m so glad you asked this question. I hope she has time to reply. If not, maybe she’ll mention a remedy/prevention method in her book?
Thank you for the recommendation…I love the pictures they are so cool! This is exactly what I need a job with some stress but a lot of fun too : )
Have a great week!
Kim!!! It’s Meech…my phone was stolen and I lost all my contacts. Email or text me with your info. Tried to send you a Happy Birthday text and forgot I no longer had your digits. I tried to email but not sure if I had the correct address. You look fantastic. So happy for you! Send me your info. Miss you…
Kimberly, thank you for your inspiring and informative blog!
I have a question about chlorella and I would be thankful if you as an expert had the time to give some insight.
I started using it about a month ago. I took a teaspoonful in the morning after a light breakfast mixed in water. All was good for weeks, until one morning I suddenly started vomiting violently, about once in every fifteen minutes and it continued for hours. I had never been so sick in my life. Soon there were chunks of blood in the vomit. I was taken to emergency. There the vomiting continued with more and more blood. I was shocked and thought I was going to die.
The hospital staff took all kinds of tests, and surprisingly everything was perfect. Doctors traced what I had eaten, and were certain it was the chlorella, causing poisoning. First I didn’t believe it. How could it suddenly give me such insane symptoms after I’ve succesfully taken it for two weeks?
Later I had gastric endoscopy and it was found out that I had vomited the lining of my stomach from a huge area. I am not yet fully recovered, but the nausea ended when I stopped taking the chlorella.
Yesterday I made a big mistake and tried half a teaspoon of it(I had to be sure!) and in just ten minutes I got very sick and the whole thing started again. Now when I even smell chlorella, I almost faint!
As a test, I asked my mother and friend try the same chlorella, and they got no symptoms. So there is probably nothing wrong with the chlorella, it’s not contaminated etc.
Could it be that it is some bizarre delayed extreme allergic reaction? What is your theory?
I loved the chlorophyll and alleged mercury detox aspect of it. Too bad I can’t take it anymore.
Thank you so much in advance.
