Where I come from in India, rice is a staple in the diet, specifically white rice. I have swapped out for brown rice but read that the arsenic in brown rice is significantly higher. Is this still true if I buy organic and should I consider switching back to white rice?

We are connected to everyone and everything else. When I went on a beach walk recently, I came across this baby seal (which was rescued and put back into the ocean). Our food choices have such an impact on the ocean, and as much as it is a downer to talk about, we have to remember that for every 1 pound of fish caught, approximately 5 pounds of non-fish are caught (dolphins, sharks, turtles, etc.) and killed. Eating more plant-based is not only amazing for our health, but for all our fellow animals on the planet, and Mother Nature herself! Eat in a loving way and feel more loving. xo
