Spine-Opening Yoga Routine
Moving your spine, and keeping it mobile and flexible, helps to raise and balance energy in all areas of your life. The seven chakras, or energy wheels as they are referred to in yoga, are located along the length of your spine. Each one corresponds to different aspects of energy expression in your life, including giving and receiving love, manifesting creativity, communication, and so on. Unfortunately, most people sit at a desk all day or engage in physical exercises which don’t call for full, free-form movement of the spine.
In this around 5-minute simple spine-opening series, you will start to awaken the energy along the length of your spine. Consciously moving the physical will help you to tap into deeper and greater aspects of your energy.
