Sweet Beet Smoothie Recipe
Serves: 1 serving
  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 1 red apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 small or ½ medium beet, raw – (use a high powered blender or cook beet before blending)
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ginger root
  • ½ bunch spinach, chopped and rinsed
  • 6 dates (to taste) ---if less sugar is desired sweeten to taste with stevia instead
  1. Add the coconut water, apple, beet, ginger root, spinach and dates to the blender. Starting the blender on a low speed, blend until smooth. If needed gradually increase to higher speeds and blend until smooth.
  2. Enjoy!
