Fireworks Festive Smoothie Recipe
Serves: Makes 2 servings
  • Red Layer:
  • ¾ cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ frozen banana
  • ¼ cup chopped raw red beets
  • ½ cup coconut water ice cubes
  • ½ Tbs. coconut nectar (if desired not required)
  • Blue Layer:
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup coconut water ice cubes
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • White Layer:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ fresh banana
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbs large flaked coconut
  • ¾ cup coconut milk ice cubes
  • Garnish: sliced strawberries, coconut whipped cream or shredded coconut
  1. Assembly:
  2. Assemble each smoothie. Chill each smoothie in a bag or freezer safe container in the freezer for 2 hours. Mash up each smoothie to a smooth consistency.
  3. Using frosted glasses begin assembling the smoothies.
  4. Place enough red smoothie in each glass to fill ⅓ of the glass.
  5. Next, pour another ⅓ full amount of blue smoothie mix in each glass.
  6. Next, spoon the white layer smoothie into the glass until it is filled to the brim.
  7. Garnish: Place a sprinkling of coconut, coconut whipped cream and extra berries to garnish.
