Beauty Detox Summer Rolls Recipe

Serves: 1 serving
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienned or shredded
  • Optional extras: cilantro, basil, bean sprouts etc.
  • 4 sheets rice paper (*See Note)
  • water
  • Sauce:
  • 2 ½ Tbs. almond butter
  • 1 Tbs. tamari
  • 1 teaspoon coconut nectar
  • 2 tsp. water (or more as needed to achieve desired consistency)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp. lime juice
  • Note: Remember this is an opportunity to experiment and you can use nori sheets, collard leaves, romaine, chard and other veggies to “wrap” whatever you choose to create for filling!
  1. Prep all filling ingredients. Place a bowl of water near your rolling station.
  2. Lay a wet tea towel down or moisten a wooden cutting board well.
  3. Dip rice paper in water for 15-20 seconds until softened.
  4. Lay out on board and fill with romaine, cabbage, carrots and any optional additions.
  5. Tuck ends onto wrap and roll up like a burrito. Repeating with all wraps.
  6. Combine sauce ingredients and serve immediately.
  7. Enjoy!
