Crispy Rosemary Turnip Fries Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • For Turnip Fries:
  • 4-5 medium turnips sliced in half, then sliced into sticks.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-2 tbsp. fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • For Dipping Sauce:
  • 3 ounces sundried tomatoes soaked in hot water for 1 hour
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Soak the sundried tomatoes.
  • Wash, peel and cut turnips.
  • In a medium size bowl, coat turnips with olive oil, rosemary and salt and pepper.
  • Place on coated baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  • While turnip fries bake, prepare the dipping sauce by adding all ingredients to a high-powered blender and mix until combined - adding back in water to desired consistency.
