Fireworks Festive Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Red Layer:
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • ¼ cup chopped raw red beets
  • 1/2 cup coconut water ice cubes
  • ½ Tbs. coconut nectar if desired not required
  • Blue Layer:
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup coconut water ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
  • White Layer:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 fresh banana
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbs large flaked coconut
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk ice cubes
  • Garnish: sliced strawberries coconut whipped cream or shredded coconut

Instructions
 

  • Assembly:
  • Assemble each smoothie. Chill each smoothie in a bag or freezer safe container in the freezer for 2 hours. Mash up each smoothie to a smooth consistency.
  • Using frosted glasses begin assembling the smoothies.
  • Place enough red smoothie in each glass to fill 1/3 of the glass.
  • Next, pour another 1/3 full amount of blue smoothie mix in each glass.
  • Next, spoon the white layer smoothie into the glass until it is filled to the brim.
  • Garnish: Place a sprinkling of coconut, coconut whipped cream and extra berries to garnish.
