Raw Chocolate Covered Almond Donut Holes Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • Base
  • 2/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 2/3 cup pre-soaked almonds
  • 2/3 cup dates pitted
  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. coconut nectar
  • Chocolate Drizzle
  • 1/4 cup. raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup melted cacao butter
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Combine coconut, almonds, dates, salt, and coconut nectar into food processor or high speed blender. Add a tablespoon of water until you reach desired texture.
  • Roll into balls or “donut shapes” and place in freezer for about 30 minutes.
  • For the chocolate drizzle, mix cacao powder, cacao butter, and maple syrup until smooth consistency.
  • Dip donuts into the chocolate and place onto a baking sheet and cool in fridge
  • Top with optional toppings: crushed almonds, sea salt, dark chocolate shavings, etc.
  • Place in fridge to harden for 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
