The Winter Glowing Green Smoothie Recipe
Todayâs featured smoothie is my Winter Glowing Green Smoothie! I often get questions from you on how to switch up the ingredients for The Original Glowing Green Smoothie, so I created this Winter themed recipe to fit in for the season!
I generally recommend starting out consuming around 16 ounces of my Winter Glowing Green Smoothie , and then working up to 24 ounces or more. A Vitamix blender is definitely recommended to make this smoothie, so that itâs smooth, silky, and delicious in only a few minutes of prep time and cleanup.
The advantage of making a big batch like this is time and convenience. Unlike juice, the Glowing Green Smoothie will keep in your refrigerator, as long as itâs covered, for about two and a half days. You can share it with your family or roommates, or have it yourself over that time period.
Remember Beauty not to add protein powders, chia seeds or bee pollen into your morning Glowing Green Smoothie. Why? It is important to keep it as easy to digest as possible and this includes keeping the base water! Fruits and veggies. No fats or protein.
There is a place for coconut water and almond milk in smoothies, but not in the Glowing Green Smoothie. I designed this smoothie to be easy on your digestive system while giving you tons of energy! The greens are the rebuilders, and the fruit are the cleansers. Period. Keep it simple.
