If you know anything about my story or background, you know that my philosophy and inspiration is heavily rooted in world travels. I once traveled for a few years at a time, and on this journey, I’ve now been on the road for 5 months.
I’ve been working with clients/films, learning a tremendous amount from local teachers and about foods and health in each country, and I’m going to come out on the other end of this journey having edited the third Beauty Detox book. And yes, a lot of fun thrown in there to boot!
Where the journey began, all the way back in March, in the Italian Alps.
Mama Ki, illustrious tea purveyor. It seems so recently I was in her tiny shop in Seoul, South Korea, learning about detox teas and chatting with her all day!
It’s no secret that I love travel, but it does come at a price! When you travel, your diet not only changes, but also your body’s many rhythms shift relative to the time zone and new environment you are in. Of course, I still follow a Beauty Detox way of eating — but even then — the food sources are different, the ingredients might also be a little different, you get the point!
All this change can affect your body’s digestive rhythm and strength, as well as your regularity of daily elimination. And if your elimination is off, it can potentially lead to a bloated, “puffy” tummy and other issues.
We just so happened to be in Korea at the time of the cherry blossoms blooming in spring. Very lucky!
And let’s not forget a few weeks of a cooking intensive in Bangkok, Thailand. One of my favorite countries in the world, which holds a lot of memories for me.
That’s why I’m extremely excited to be launching a new product THIS WEEK (!) that I’ve been using whenever I travel to stay regular, keep my body’s rhythms consistent, and look/feel my very best, no matter where in the world I am. This new product, especially when combined with our probiotic, is like a “one-two punch” for eliminating gas and flattening your tummy.
