My Energizing Pineapple Mint Smoothie Recipe is a great and yummy way to support your energy. Itās loaded with hydrating and stress-soothing anti-inflammatory pineapple, energizing mint and mineral and protein-rich bee pollen. Youāll be buzzing around like a bee yourself with energy coming out of your ears!! :)
Autumn is here and activities, stress and school are in full force! We can all use more energy to get through busy days and into the evenings of dinner prep.
Who doesnāt want to have the energy of a bee?! Let me share why this smoothie will help ya out:
The Benefits to Adding Pineapple & Mint Into Your Smoothies
Pineapples
I love pineapple. Isnāt it great news when yummy foods are awesome for us? Well pineapple doesnāt just make your taste buds happy, they are a great hydrating food full of vitamin C. They are also naturally anti-inflammatory, which is important for your highest level of healthy, natural Radical Beauty.
Yikes! Letās not get crazy! Thereās no need to worry about that if weāre downing this smoothie with itās hydrating elements of the amazing pineapple. Not only is it packed with bromelain (which helps with digestion), but pineapple is a natural detoxifier. This is turn, helps to manage or even assisting with weight loss.
*Note: The bromelain enzyme it contains is what is believed to contain anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce the onset of aging, pain and disease.
Pineapples are one of the most delicious fruits ever and are, of course, one of my personal faves :).
Mint
Mint adds herbaceous freshness anytime of year, including this one :).
Packed with vitamins, antioxidants and phytonutrients (including vitamin A, beta-carotene, vitamin C, folate, vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine), riboflavin and thiamin), it can be used for medicinal purposes, such as digestive problems. This includes nausea or need I say it, flatulence! (Plenty of that going on around here these days with Lil Bub and his baby farts, BTW! :) ).

Bee Pollen
I can not stress enough how much I love this Beauty Detox food! Iām such a fan that Iāve included it as one of my top 50 beauty foods in The Beauty Detox Foods.
I discovered it back when I was living in NY. Every day we would leave the yoga studio and go to this juice bar across the street north of Union Square. I started inquiring about the bee pollen they offered. I got hooked!
Then I met Mike, my bee keeper, who has the most potent and fresh bee pollen that I still source to this day. My mom brought me some last week to my hotel in NY and I carried it back with me to LA!
Without going into too many details (you can learn more HERE!), bee pollen is a wonderful source of protein and packed with valuable amino acids. These help to control hunger and appetite.
These golden beads are also packed with vitamins, B vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and are a complete protein.
Letās check out these easy step-by-steps, shall we?!

Prepare ingredients.

Blend all ingredients together except bee pollen, starting on low and increasing speed as needed.

Top with bee pollen and enjoy!
Itās time to get energized and hydrated Beautiesāfrom the inside out!
