Fountain of Youth Pie
This incredibly vitality and youthful energy-promoting pie is also delicious! The other day, I gave my husband a slice of my new Fountain of Youth pie, and he couldnāt believe how yummy it was! Isnāt it so wonderful when such powerfully healthy foods also taste so good? The secret is in how we combine them.
You donāt have to bake it; rather, you can freeze it. In fact, itās a great thing to keep in your freezer, so you can have a little slice when you want something as a ātreat.ā At the same time, it will be deeply nourishing for your skin, energy, and overall vitality!
Here are some of the key ingredients we call this āfountain of youthā pie:
Amalaki
In Ayurveda, this herb is called the āfountain of youthā and is considered the best among rejuvenating herbs. It is one of the key ingredients in our brand-new Glowing Greens Powder, our daily vitality booster. You can mix it in water to make your Glowing Green Smoothie or recipes like this one!
One of the most important ancient texts of Ayurveda, and one I studied extensively in my Ayurvedic practitioner program, is the Charaka Samhita. It says, āOf all the rasayanas, Amalaki is revered as one of the most potent and nourishing. Amalaki is the best among rejuvenating herbs.ā1
One of the most remarkable aspects of Amalaki is its ability to balance all three doshas ā Vata, Pitta, and Kapha ā which are believed to govern various physiological functions in the body. This tridoshic nature makes Amalaki suitable for all body types, seasons, and weather conditions, a rare and valuable characteristic among fruits. Very few fruits have this quality!
Itās also super high in vitamin C, helps to support digestion and nutrient absorption, and supports healthy skin and hair. It also supports the liver, brain, heart, blood and circulation. If you want to create more vitality and youthful energy, please do consume Amalaki in a balanced way in our Glowing Greens Powder formula daily- and also in this pie!

Brazil Nuts
Brazil nuts are super-dense in nutrients! These delicious little powerhouses are not only tasty but also offer a major nutritional boost, especially when it comes to selenium.
Selenium is a crucial mineral that helps your thyroid gland produce hormones that keep your metabolism humming along smoothly.
Selenium doesnāt just help your thyroid ā itās also a fantastic antioxidant that shields your cells from oxidative stress and inflammation.
And letās not forget about the other goodies in Brazil nuts. Theyāre full of healthy fats, fiber, and anti-inflammatory properties. The National Institutes of Health even says that selenium can help prevent cancer by repairing DNA and boosting your immune system.3
While researchers are still unraveling the mysteries behind this link, itās clear selenium has some fantastic benefits!
Acai
Acai berries have truly earned their superfood status, and itās easy to see why. These rich, deep purple gems are packed with powerful antioxidants, especially anthocyanins, which give them their vibrant color. Antioxidants are essential for fighting oxidative stress and protecting our cells from damage caused by free radicals.
What makes acai berries stand out is their exceptional ability to be absorbed in the gut. Research shows that the antioxidants in acai berries are easily absorbed in the digestive tract, allowing our bodies to benefit fully from their protective properties.3 This high bioavailability makes acai a potent ingredient in our Fountain of Youth Pie, enhancing its anti-aging and vitality-boosting effects!
But thereās more to acai berries than just antioxidants. They are also rich in fiber, healthy fats, vitamins A, C, and E, and minerals like potassium, magnesium, and calcium. This incredible nutrient density supports the overall health benefits of acai, making it a fantastic addition to your wellness routine.
