Lemons are loaded with amazing qualities. It’s a no-brainer why I’ve included them in every single one of my summer elixir recipes below. Using fresh lemon juice is the key to give our body the boost it needs to detox, de-bloat, and digest!
When you think of lemons, you can associate them with strengthening the liver’s function. This is especially helpful while cleansing, as the liver, is our main detoxifying organ.
These yellow gems also provide us with a great deal of Vitamin C, helping us abate inflammation and various forms of aging in the body. You can see why I can’t get enough of this fruit. They are just an amazing gift for us!!
Lemon Raspberry Digestive Elixir Recipe

The powerhouse combination of grapefruit and chia seeds boosts digestion and de-stresses the gut. Grapefruits are extremely hydrating, being the perfect partner to chia seeds. When mixed with liquid these seeds swell up to 15x their size. Being a combination of soluble and insoluble fiber you can envision chia seeds as little cleansing balls working through your intestines.
