Last Monday, we launched our 7-Day Summer Salad Challenge where the goal was to eat at least one large salad each day. The salad could be any combination of ingredients, as long as it remained Beauty Detox-friendly — based in a large amount of greens and free of dairy and for challenge, also animal protein.
We thought the community would enjoy and benefit from the challenge, but the results were just incredible! So many people posted amazing, inspiring pictures post on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag “#BeautyDetoxChallenge” and tagging me — @_KimberlySnyder — to track their 7 day commitment.

If you participated and completed the challenge, give yourself a loving hug. You should be proud of yourself! It’s an amazingly powerful habit to simply eat a large plant-based salad each day — with so many health and beauty benefits.
Even though the challenge is over, I highly encourage you to use this momentum to continue this disciple and turn it into a lasting habit. Soon, you’ll find yourself doing it each day effortlessly without even thinking about it. Eating a large, healthy salad will just be part of your daily life.
That’s the most exciting part of these challenges — they push us to be consistent over a period of time and show how fun and easy it can be incorporate these Beauty Detox principles. Then, it becomes easier to see how we can do these things beyond the challenge for deeper and even more powerful results.
