OFFICIAL RULES (“OFFICIAL RULES”)

 

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

 

A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The “BEAUTY DETOX FOODS SWEEPSTAKES” (“Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:01 am Pacific Time (“PT”) on March 18, 2015. Sweepstakes ends at 11:59 pm Pacific Time (“PT”) on April 5, 2015 for the receipt of an electronic entry and on April 5, 2015 for the postmarking of a mail-in entry (with receipt of mail-in entry by April 9, 2015); as detailed below. The sponsor of this Sweepstakes is Beauty Detox LLC, 5830 E. 2^nd Street, Casper, WY 82609 (the “Sponsor”). Sweepstakes shall be subject to these Official Rules, and by entering, all participants agree to be bound by terms and conditions herein. Certain restrictions may apply.

ELIGIBILITY: THE SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (THE “ELIGIBILITY AREA”), SIXTEEN (16) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF THE DATE OF THEIR ENTRY. Employees and their families of the Sponsor, prize providers, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies and agencies (collectively, the “Promotion Parties”) and those living in the household of same are not eligible to enter or win.   A prize won by an individual that is considered a minor (“Minor”) in the legal jurisdiction in which he or she resides will be awarded in the name of his or her parent or legal guardian. Void outside the Eligibility Area and where prohibited or restricted by law. All Federal, state, and local rules and regulations apply.

PRIVACY INFORMATION: All information collected in connection with entry in the Sweepstakes will be subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at www.beautydetoxpower.com.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES. There are three (3) ways to enter the Sweepstakes; by mail or online after making a qualifying purchase or for free (without qualifying purchase) by mail. The methods of entry are as follows:

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES AFTER MAKING A QUALIFYING PURCHASE: To enter the Sweepstakes with a qualifying purchase, it is required that a minimum of three (3) copies of Kimberly Snyder’s “The Beauty Detox Power” (the “Book”) are purchased between the dates of March 18, 2015 and April 5, 2015. A dated and detailed receipt or receipts (“Receipt”) showing the purchase of a total three (3) copies of the Book (by name) will be required for entry with qualifying purchase as detailed below. One (1) “Qualifying Sweepstakes Entry” will be earned for every three (3) copies of the Book purchased and detailed on the Receipt after all requirements for entry are met. There is no limit to the number of Qualifying Entries any one (1) individual may earn.

HOW TO ENTER BY MAIL WITH A QUALIFYING PURCHASE: Beginning at 12:01 am PT on March 18, 2015, log on to the website at www.beautydetoxpower.com (“Web Site”) and print out the official entry form (“Official Entry Form”) for the Sweepstakes. After making a purchase of three (3) copies of the Book between March 18, 2015 and April 5, 2015, make a photocopy of the Receipt. Attach a completed Official Entry Form to the photocopy or original Receipt and mail to Beauty Detox Foods Sweepstakes, 5830 E. 2^nd Street, Casper, WY 82609. ALL QUALIFYING ENTRIES MAILED MUST BE MAILED SEPARATELY AND BE POSTMARKED BY APRIL 5, 2015 AND RECEIVED BY APRIL 9, 2015.

HOW TO ENTER ONLINE WITH A QUALIFYING PURCHASE: Beginning at 12:01 am PT on March 18, 2015, log on to the Web Site and follow the directions for Sweepstakes entry, by completing the Official Entry Form and uploading a scan or photo of the Receipt. ALL QUALIFYING ENTRIES SUBMITTED ONLINE MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 PM PT ON APRIL 5, 2013.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES FOR FREE BY MAIL: To enter the Sweepstakes for free by mail (without a qualifying purchase), hand print your first and last name, street address (no post office boxes), city, state, zip code, gender, daytime telephone number, date of birth and (if applicable) e-mail address on a postcard only and mail the completed postcard entry to: “THE ULTIMATE BEAUTY DETOX POWER SWEEPSTAKES” – FREE ENTRY, c/o Beauty Detox LLC, 5830 E. 2^nd Street, Casper, WY 82609 (“Free Mail-in entry”). YOU MAY ENTER AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE FOR FREE BY MAIL BUT ALL FREE MAIL-IN ENTRIES MUST BE MAILED SEPARATELY AND BE POSTMARKED BY APRIL 5, 2015 AND RECEIVED BY APRIL 9, 2015.

 

Qualifying Entries and Free Mail-in Entries may be referred to herein individually as an “Entry” or collectively as “Entries”. Each individual submitting such Entry may be referred to herein individually as an “Entrant” and collectively as “Entrants”.

The Promotion Parties and all Internet server(s) and access provider(s), and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and advertising and promotional agencies, and all of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, “Releasees”) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer on-line systems, computer equipment, servers, providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; inability to access the Web Site or any pages thereof; inability to upload scan or photo; inability to download or print Official Entry Form; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; any problems with transactions, including, but not limited to transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or for refused credit; data processing that is processed late or incorrectly or is incomplete or lost due to telephone, computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on telephone lines or the Internet or any web site, (including the Web Site); printing or other errors; and any mail entries that are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, postage due or any combination thereof. Illegible, incomplete and entries in excess of the stated limitations will be disqualified. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants affirm that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal and state courts of the United States and waive the right to have disputes arising out of the subject matter hereof adjudicated in any other forum.

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: Prizewinners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about April 10, 2015 by representatives of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Potential prize winners will be notified via email and/or telephone within five (5) days of random drawing and will be required to respond to such notification within two (2) business days, verifying eligibility and providing a complete mailing address within the Eligibility Area. Prize winners (or prize winner’s parent or legal guardian if a prize winner is a Minor) may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability form, and (except where prohibited) a Publicity Release and a completed IRS W-9 form (“Required Documents”) within ten (10) days of issuance date of notification.   If a selected prize winner does not respond to notification, return the Required Documents within the stated time limits, is found to be ineligible for any reason or does not comply with these Official Rules, declines the prize for any reason prior to award, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such selected Prize winner, such selected Prize winner will forfeit his or her prize in its entirety and an alternate Prize winner may at Sponsor’s sole discretion be selected. 

No substitution for a prize will be permitted by a prize winner. If necessary due to unavailability, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the discretion of the Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash.

All federal, state and local tax liabilities, if any, are the responsibility of the prize winners.

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use the Grand Prize Winner’s name, likenesses, biographies, statements, and any other similar materials for publicity purposes without additional compensation or limitation.

PRIZES:

The following prizes are available to be won in the Sweepstakes:

 

Vitamix Blender* (15 available to be awarded): Each prize consists of a Vitamix 5200 Blender (Colors may vary and will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Sponsor). The approximate (“ARV”) of the Vitamix Blender prize is $450.00 each.

                               

Glow Bio 1-Day Cleanse* (3): The prize consists of a Glow Bio 1-Day Cleanse with an ARV of $60.00 each.

Vapour Beauty Makeup Bag* (10): Each prize consists of a Vapour Beauty Makeup Prize Pack with an ARV of $231.00 each.

Gift Certificate for a two-night stay at The Four Seasons in Los Angeles with spa facial (1): Total ARV: $1600.00

Prize includes: Two-night stay (single standard room, room and tax only) at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. Max Two people occupancy per room. Blackout dates include all Awards Season weekends and from Christmas to New Year’s Day.. Winner will have to pay for all incidentals, food, drink and any spa services besides the diamond facial. Airfare is not included. Hotel/Airport transportation not included. Valet parking for one car is offered. December 23, 2015 is the expiration date.

A two night stay at Esperanza Resort in Mexico (1): ARV: $1,608.00)

Prize includes: Two- night stay at the Esperanza Resort in Mexico. Maximum of Two people occupancy per room. Blackout dates: Dates that have high or full occupancy levels, dates with resort exclusives (buyout) or special events & December 18th – January 3rd are unavailable – busiest date range of the year. Winner will have to pay for all incidentals, food, drink and any other activities preformed at the Esperanza. Airfare is not included. Transportation to resort is not included. 

Skincare Bundles from Burt’s Bees (5): Prize consists of a selection of Burt’s Bees products selected at sole discretion of Sponsor with an ARV of $100.00 each.

Specific make, model, color and specifications of all prizes are at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are non-transferable or assignable. No prize substitution or cash redemption allowed by a prize winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes may not be sold, bartered or exchanged by the winner. Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty of any kind. By accepting a prize, prize winner acknowledges compliance with these Official Rules.

The odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible Entries received and are equal regardless of the method of Entry. The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the Sweepstakes is $20,208.00.

LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY: Releasees shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply a prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal), labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Releasees’ sole control.

GENERAL: Entrants release and waive any claim they may have against Releasees and their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies and agencies for injuries, claims, damages or losses, costs or expenses of any kind resulting from acceptance of, use or misuse of a prize or parts thereof or from participation in this Sweepstakes.

If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of the Sweepstakes and processing of Entries per these rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by Entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is canceled or terminated, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award the prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. If such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension occurs, notification will be posted at https://beautydetoxfoods.com. ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Where a dispute arises about who received a Qualifying Entry, the Qualifying Entry will be deemed submitted by the individual whose email address was submitted at the time of Entry. A potential winner may be requested to provide the Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the ‘authorized account holder’ of the email address entered. The authorized account holder is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, service provider, or other online organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.

Residents of VT may omit return postage on their requests. Official Rules are also available during the Automatic Entry Period of the Sweepstakes at www.beautydetoxpower.com.
