It is amazing to read how her quest started by wanting to look and feel best for her wedding, and that put her on the path of wellness and health! I am so happy to see how far she has come and her personal journey to feel beautiful from the inside out! It is so important for all of us to share our journeys with one other, as we can all learn from each other and support each other.

Today Shir shares with us how she lost 30 pounds, healed from severe acne, migraines and many other physical problems. The Beauty Detox Community has been growing and thriving and I can truly feel it stronger than ever before. How long have you been following the Beauty Detox philosophy? Was it easy to incorporate it into your lifestyle?
I started incorporating the Beauty Detox
philosophy into my diet about three years ago. I was about to get married and I was searching for a way to look and feel my best on my wedding day.
I wanted to glow from the inside out, to feel healthy and strong and to know I will be able to sustain that good feeling easily.
I reached my goal on my wedding day with the Beauty Detox diet and I continued happily with the program never looking back! I found it very easy to incorporate into my lifestyle.
Learning to listen to my body and gradually incorporating more and more Beauty Detox principles was fun and an exciting process of detoxing and renewing. My body responded immediately to the changes and started craving a more healthy lifestyle.
What is your daily regimen? Give us an example of a typical meal plan and exercise routines.
A typical day for me usually starts with a one hour yoga practice, then I have fruit for breakfast until I feel satisfied and completely full.
For lunch I love having my Glowing Green Smoothie! It gives me so much energy and fills me up perfectly.
For dinner I usually go for a large salad with one of Kimberly’s amazing dressings and on the side a rice or quinoa dish. There are so many options to choose from!
How do you feel after adopting the Beauty Detox lifestyle? What changes have you experienced?
The Beauty Detox lifestyle has helped me change my life completely. I lost 30 pounds, healed from severe acne, migraines, high cholesterol, anemia, and many other physical problems.
More than the physical part of my recovery, the mental part was even more profound for me, healing from clinical depression and anxiety attacks after over 10 years of battling.
How has this impacted your outlook on life?
This overall change in my diet has led me to a point where I feel the healthiest and happiest I have ever felt. I can maintain my weight easily and keep my skin clear without feeling any sense of deprivation at all.
For me that is real freedom.
It’s amazing how the body and mind can heal and thrive when choosing love for them every day, everything is connected, and that is what the Beauty Detox lifestyle is all about. I experience so much more peace in all parts of my life that used to be a constant struggle for me. I see the oneness and beauty in it all now, even the hard parts.
What is your favorite recipe and why?
My favorite recipe is the Glowing Green Smoothie, of course! It is my go to smoothie for years now, changing with each season. It provides my with so much energy
and health and leaves me feeling glowing from the inside out every single time.
What words of encouragement do you have for others in the Beauty Detox Community?
Healing and growing from the inside out is possible! Choosing to love yourself with the food you put into your body, with the movement you do and with the thoughts you think, it all works together to bring out the best you.
I could never imagine how much my life would change and how good I could feel. I was used to feeling unwell and depressed. I try to chose the best for myself every day and that includes not being too hard on myself, its all part of the process.
The focus was and still is on happiness first and foremost, it is a journey for life and we are worth it, we deserve only love.
