In this episode, Tony and I talk about the topic of mindful eating and how it impacts your beauty, health and energy. Check out the upbeat discussion Tony and I have on ways to improve your mindfulness around food when there is so much noise from the media and our surrounding environments. We discuss how being present when you eat brings more satisfaction and connection to the food you eat as well as how it affects your beauty, health and energy. If you have been feeling sluggish and need a pick me up (which is of course super common this time of year), this podcast is for you!

Next, my interview this week is with Bridget Danner, a women’s health expert and also hosts a radio show called Women’s Wellness Radio. Bridget and I dive into a plethora of women’s health issues including menstrual cycles, PCOS, fertility, postpartum depression and more. We talk about potential reasons behind why so many of us struggle with women’s issues and some support options on how to improve your overall health.

About Bridgit Danner, LAc

Bridgit’s interest in natural living began in college, as she studied organic gardening and herbology. After enjoying a few glorious years of living and traveling overseas, she began studying Chinese Medicine at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2000.

After learning about fertility to conceive her own son in 2007, and birthing her son in 2008, she experienced some of the health and emotional challenges you might see in a new mom and business owner.  That crisis helped her find the tools of coaching, holistic nutrition and functional medicine that helped her both heal and evolve, and they are the tools she is now passionate about sharing with her clients.

She established Joyful Mammas, an online fertility enhancement business that offers group and private programs to support women and couples in finding the deep health, peace and joy that welcomes new life.

About Tony Flores, a long-time friend of Kimberly who, after graduating from Stanford University, began researching and writing professionally full-time. He has a passion for natural health, especially Beauty Detox, and loves to share exciting new studies and insights he learns with Kimberly and the community!
