Today I’m going to share something I’ve never done before…
My friend Natalie—who hosted a show with me last Tuesday on Beauty Detox Foods Launch Day—got me to open up my fridge, pick 5 foods at random, and then come up with a brand new recipe on the fly.
We filmed the whole thing, and I must say, her “challenge” was an absolute blast!
And as you’ll see at the very end, we named the recipe after her—The Natalie!
Watch it below now:
Here is also another quick and easy recipe to try! Check out my simple salsa recipe here. :)
In love and health,
Kimberly
P.S.—While Beauty Detox Foods is now available in bookstores everywhere and will continue to be… there are just TWO days left to enter the big contest, if you get 3 or more copies. (Remember that we just added another prize—we’re giving away three 20-minute 1-on-1 consultations as part of the package as well!)

Thanks to everyone for showing so much support and love—and to all who sent me positive feedback, thanks and personal pictures of the book. :)
Hello,
Could you please explain the mechanism of action as to how “citric acid enzymes build liver tissue?” It is my understanding that an enzyme is a catalyst for biochemical reactions in the body, so I don’t see their role in being anabolic, ie. building up organ tissue. Thank you.
Love your website so much! I ordered three copies of your book and already know who I’m going to give them to–one to my beautiful mom for Mother’s Day and one for my 24-year old niece on her birthday. So glad I found your site. Can’t wait to get my books. Timberly
I actually tried to watch this video the other day, but it was marker private. So glad you made it public today. Great job with the challenge and with your new book, as well. I got my copy the day it came out. Love the photos, too. They look delicious :-)

Thank you so much. Glad you love the new book! If you have a free moment write a review on Amazon. xo
Love the challenge. It’s really amazing what you can come up with when challenged.
I LOVE spring onions, I chop them and throw every day in my salads, in dressings, on everything!
I loved this video and I’m super inspired!!!! I ordered both of your books so I can start following your program :)
Could you please tell me what is the brand of the pan you used in this video?
Hello Kimberly,
Here is an idea: Why not have a contest for those who have purchased your two books or even one of them and think up prizes such as personal consultations or access to an extended bank of newer recipies? It certainly wouldn’t burn the bank and would be a great promo. Even though I am sure these two books will take me a while to wade through, any extra arrow in the quiver is a plus. Love the books and they have really helped, especially since I have been going down this road for a while. Your advice has made available energy which I have not had access to for decades. Astounding really! Keep up the good work.
I have struggled with “calorie counting” to maintain my weight for about 6 years now. It has worked, in that I lost 30 lbs and I’ve maintained a weight that I’m happy with for 5 years. However, it was a huge part of my life and was really starting to define me. I do not want to be defined by how many calories I eat, and subsequently burn at the gym. But honestly, every time I stopped counting… about 3 weeks would pass and I’d find my pants a little bit tighter… so back to counting I would go!
Since reading your first book, I’ve really been able to start releasing myself to simply enjoy the foods that I’m eating rather than constantly calculating. I just bought the second book on kindle and am so excited to start making the recipes.
Thank you so much for your book, my journey is far from over… (I still haven’t fully shaken the dairy habit) but I am on my way to a healthier body and outlook on life. Thank you thank you thank you!
Nevermind! I just found it in your resources section.
Hi Kimberly,
Thank you for the video! So excited to get your new book. One comment: I’m surprised you didn’t wash the cabbage! Was that just for speed’s sake for the video?
Thanks!
I have your first book and ordered your new one. Could you please address how to proceed if one seems to have difficulty digesting grains? (even soaked) I followed your diet but because of leaky gut, my symptoms became worse. I had to cut out grains and legumes (which I know you limit) and had to add eggs, and lean animal protein in for a time. (not the paleo free for all–bacon, animal fat, and the like). I LOVE you ideals, but just do not seem to thrive on a vegan/veg diet. Do you have any advice? Please help.
I bought both of your books and am I glad!! Just watched this video and once again I am just amazed at how easy your recipes are. Thank you Kim for giving all of us out here your wonderful advice on how to live more healthy and funfilled lives. I just love this sight!! So glad I joined your blog.
I was introduced to your book through my sister-in-law. Picked up a copy of your new book! Have you ever written a blog post on how to keep your veggies fresh in the fridge longer? As I buy more and more vegetables and fruit, I just don’t know what’s the ideal place for them in the fridge. As the crisper just gets so full quickly! help for a family of four.
I do have some concerns about my liver because of a hereditary issue. This gets my attention so thank you and I am going to do some research of my own.
I’ve added your book to my repertoire, along with Dr. Furhman’s “Super-immunity”, as I make the transition to becoming vegan. I am living by your “Progress not perfection” slogan – thank-you!
Your fridge, though, seems to be lacking a little ‘real life’! To compare, I opened mine to see why it’s so chock-full: along with the veg and fruit, mine has multiple mason jars full of hemp hearts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax meal, hemp protein, homemade hemp milk (I’m a hemp addict), cartons of coconut and almond milk, bottles of pomegranate juice and wrapped versions of your Go Berry Breakfast Bars. And that’s what I can see!
By the way, as a tip for your members, I use shallow wicker baskets to divide and conquer all the produce in the fridge. They’re easy to slide-out and corral the items that roll (lemons, limes.) I also try and keep all the ingredients for GGS in one basket for ease and speed.
What i don’t realize is in truth how you are now not actually a lot more well-liked than you may be right now. You’re so intelligent.
You understand therefore significantly relating to this subject, made me for my part believe it from so many various angles.
Its like women and men aren’t fascinated until it is something to do with Girl gaga! Your personal stuffs nice. All the time take care of it up!
