Recently, I was invited on to Queen Latifah to share a little about my experience in Africa–along some recipes that were inspired my trip. They are super yummy and provide a nice change from the normal #GGS and smoothies you’re probably used to having. Here is the segment below:
This was a great segment – loved the last bit, hilarious! I really want to try to the almond/fig smoothie!
The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to
see if it can survive a twenty five foot drop,
just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now destroyed
and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had
to share it with someone!
I’ve try the “Serengeti Smoothie” and it was soooooo delicious! Can’t wait to make it again ( may become my new pre zumba shake) and I can’t wait to try the others!!
Hi Kimberly!
These smoothies look relic. I would like to try them all but working w/in the time limit of the show not all recipes were clear. Could you possible post the recipes? Hope to see them soon!
Thanks loads!

These delicious must be delicious, but I can’t open the web with recipes. Is there any other place I can find it?
Hi Kim, have u heard anything about spirulina & chorella being found in the brains of Alzheimer’s patients? I take this everyday after learning about it in your book. Dr. Michael Gregor (www.veganmd.org) who reads 300 of the latest studies each year reported it. I’m now confused & a little worried! What do u think about it?
