To help support you, and make the process even more fun, we’ve decided to hold a 10-day “Beauty Detox Challenge” where you and others in the community drink the Glowing Green Smoothie (#GlowingGreenSmoothie) every day for ten days straight…inspiring and sharing with one another for motivation!
Details of The Beauty Detox Challenge
I’m really excited about this as a way to help create this as a daily habit, and part of your long-term lifestyle for overall health, beauty, high energy and MORE.
If you’d like to participate, all you have to do is:
1) Follow along and actually drink the #GlowingGreenSmoothie each day. We must practice what we preach, don’t we! There’s no shortcut to just doin’ it!!
2) Post a daily photo on Instagram or Twitter — to track your progress and commitment.
3) Use the hashtag “#BeautyDetoxChallenge” and tag @_KimberlySnyder — so we can find and acknowledge you!
Also: This is not a requirement, but to make it even more fun and motivating, we recommend you invite some friends or family members to participate right along with you! It’s a fun way to introduce them to Beauty Detox and get started with one aspect of the lifestyle!
Why Do This?

It’s a fun way to challenge yourself and develop the habit of drinking #Glowing Green Smoothie each day, which is one of the most powerful things you can do for your health.
You’ll connect and get support from others in the community (including me), as you progress — so that you never feel alone as you progress through this mini-journey.

Dates of the Challenge and Final Thoughts
The Glowing Green Smoothie (#GlowingGreenSmoothie) 10-Day Challenge will start on July 21st (THIS MONDAY!) and end on July 31st.
We’re posting this now because we want you to be ready to rock-and-roll on Monday! So get thee to the farmer’s market this weekend my love and load up on the good stuff.
Again, I’m super-excited about this challenge and about all the people who are going to join us in this amazing process. So many people will be introduced to the #GlowingGreenSmoothie, and will be developing this powerful health & beauty habit themselves, which is amazing!

What are your feelings on the whole fruit combining with vegetables theory? Thought only apples or pears with greens. Years ago, I followed the ‘Fit for Life’ bible…
My husband and i just started this week the green drinks And im loving the results on my constipation problems, energy and cellulitis reduction! Ill do the challenge!!
Kimberly we interviewed you on The Mountain Life at KPCW radio in Park City Utah over a year ago and you gave me the GGS as my go to breakfast meal. I have had one every morning since,15 months straight, with some astonishing and unexpected results. I mention the GGS and it’s related benefits often on our show and many people in Park City have tried it. Excellent!
I have tried the GGS in past but want to know if I can add protein powder (i.e. raw, vegan brown rice based) to it? I want to ensure I get a balance of protein in there as my nutritionist has advised. Is that doable? Or not recommended?
So do we follow a regular healthy meal plan and use the smoothie as One meal substitute?

Hi Kimberly, love the idea of the 10 day challenge, our family endeavor to have our GGS everyday already 🙂 though I thought what about a super challenge for those that would like to take on a 22 day challenge (as 21 days is deemed to be habit forming, so by day 22 it may well become a positive permanent change … Just an idea). Yes, exactly — it’s just about setting the habit of GGS each day. Other food is definitely okay and part of it.

Kimberly, why do you only take on celebrity clients and not regular people anymore? I enjoy your blog and books very much but I’m disappointed that you do not accept “regular” people as clients anymore.
Hi Sophie, it’s not that I only take “celebrities” — I actually don’t take any new clients, including celebs. All the clients I currently work with (which is a lot less than I did in the past) are ones who I’ve previously had relationships with. And the reason is that I’m just so busy with books, the blog, travel and the businesses that I don’t have time to consult. Hope that makes sense!

Terrific challenge! In recent blog photos, it appears you are using a Vitamix G–series blender for your GGSs. Is the Vitamix G-series blender perfectly suitable for creating Glowing Green Smoothies?

Hi Maria, I do my best, and work to answer the questions and reply to comments in waves… to the extent that my schedule allows! If I missed something, I will usually go back and get to it whenever I have some time between book writing and other work stuff.
