As you probably know, my spiritual journey really began to blossom after learning about the work of Paramahansa Yogananda while I was traveling in India the first time I journeyed there. To this day, I meditate and practice yoga daily according to the methods he shared, and I can’t overstate the impact his teachings have had on my life.
This is just one reason why I’m thrilled to share this new movie about Yogananda that will be released in select cities this year.

About the Film
The movie is an unconventional biography that explores the life of Yogananda, and how he first brought yoga and meditation to the West in the 1920s. Of course, I’m far from the only person who has been influenced by Yogananda, and Autobiography of a Yogi has sold millions of copies worldwide. (it also happened to be the only book that Steve Jobs had on his iPad).
By personalizing his own quest for enlightenment and sharing his struggles along the path, Yogananda made ancient Vedic teachings accessible to a modern audience, attracting many followers and inspiring the millions who practice yoga today.
I’m so thrilled to be sharing the news about this movie with you, and hope that if it’s playing in your city, you go and support it.
I can not recommend this beautiful film more!
Love,
Kimberly
How do I become involved in your movement? I’ve seen so many photos of you traveling, giving to and being around children and showing them that there is so much more to life than what they know; it’s beautiful. I want nothing more than to be able to do that.
Thanks Kimberly. Well, you can support Gardens for Health right now … but we’ll introduce new ways to help in the future as well, it’s something we want to do!
Hi Kimberly;
Looks like Yogananda has inspired you to do a great deal of good for so many who want to change there lives. It is easy to see where you got your inspiration, as the Master is one of the worlds greatest lifestyle coaches.
I have been a photographer for many years and am now branching out into the field of videography. One aspect of this work is going to be the interviewing of persons who are actively promoting better ways of living and have been successful at encouraging others to learn about good health and meditation regimens. I am also a devotee of Paramahansa Yogananda.
Would it be possible for me to do a 40 minute video interview with you at some future date. [with permission to redistribute]?
Again, I admire the wonderful work you are dedicating you life to!
Sincerely , F Parente, London, Ontario, Canada.
