Last Monday, we kicked off our Beauty Detox “Avocado Remix Challenge” — where our goal was to eat at least one serving of avocado each day and share it on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest.
As we learned, avocados are such an important beauty food. They are rich in skin-nourishing vitamin E, omega-9 fats, potassium and so much more. The recipes shared and that you tried this week are now part of your arsenal, which you can use anytime to help your health continue to evolve and thrive.
Overall, I’m thrilled to report that this Avocado Remix Challenge was a smashing success — so many of you not only participated, but had a blast and succeed each day during this challenge. I’m so proud of you!
Let’s look at some of the lovely pictures that were shared:
Just the Tip of the Iceberg!
Of course, these are just a few of the countless pictures that were shared across the various social platforms! If you’d like to see more, I encourage you to search #beautydetoxchallenge on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, or check out the daily flipagrams we’ve been posting through the challenge on my Instagram handle, @_KimberlySnyder — you’ll be wow’d, for sure.
So thanks again to everyone for your amazing participation and pouring your heart into yet another challenge. We’ve all learned a lot, grown and hopefully been inspired to further nourish your body.
If you enjoyed this challenge, and especially if you have ideas for an upcoming challenge, then I encourage you to leave a comment below.
I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks so much and talk soon!
Love,
Kimberly
P.S. — On Thursday, we posted about Gardens for Health International, one of my favorite causes EVER, and their effort to reach their goal of raising $50,000 this month — and how it will be doubled through a partnership.
Well, I’m happy to report that they are now OVER $25,000 — more than half way there! So if you donated already, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you’re on the fence, I encourage to donate anything you can (even $10 helps!). A little money helps SO MUCH and you’re literally saving lives of deserving families in Africa.
Hi Kimberly –
With the holidays fast approaching I thought it might be good to put out a challenge for healthy dessert or treat ideas. Maybe cacao recipes? I love baking but want to start making things I can actually eat without packing on the holiday pounds.
Thanks,
Elizabeth
