Citrus fruits include oranges, lemons, limes, grapefruits, and let’s not forget tangerines and pomelos. Delicious and refreshing, they’re an all-star beauty food because they contain compounds called flavonoids (antioxidants that can neutralize free radicals).
Citrus fruits are high in vitamin C, which is a powerful antioxidant and protects the body from damaging free radicals. These fruits are also a good source of folate and thiamin — which helps wounds heal and helps hold blood vessels, tendons, ligaments and bone together. What more can we ask from these Beauty Foods? :)

Citrus Sunset Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 orange peeled
- ¼ lemon peeled
- ¼ lime peeled
- ½ grapefruit peeled
- 1 cup mango chunks
- ½ banana
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together starting on low and increasing speed as needed.
- Enjoy!
