Namaste Beauties and welcome back to our practical enlightenment meditation, where our specific meditation today is on Clear Communication. Our throat chakra, the Shuda chakra is a very powerful energy center in the body because it connects our expression in the world from the inside to the outside.
When we are able to have a balanced, clear, beautiful relationship with our throat chakras and this energetic wheel in there, it means that we are able to clearly and effectively communicate our needs, have healthy relationships, speak authentically and speak in truth. We don’t buy into the stories of the ego. It’s a journey of a lifetime as we stay connected to our hearts. Our throats start to speak on behalf of that love, compassion, oneness and the sharpness of our tongues over time starts to get softer.
We become less reactive and we become more aligned. Of course, this is a long journey for all of us and there will definitely be ups and downs, but along the journey, we can continue to work on clear communication, our expression in the world and putting out communication that feels really good to us and feels that it represents our spirit and our purpose and does no harm to ourselves or to others.
I think this is a great meditation for all of us. We all need to work on expression. You can work it in, or if you feel inspired by communication right now, you can focus on this one as your primary meditation morning and evening for the next little while, whatever feels right to you.
Let’s get started.
Guided Meditation
Go ahead and take a comfortable seat and close your eyes either on your cushion or on your chair with your feet, nice and flat on the ground and lift your spine. The breath.
Start to flow all the way down into the belly and the nice, slow exhale, and relax everything down.
Go ahead and let your hands rest on your knees or your thighs palms facing down right now, and then just do some gentle neck rolls. First starting in a clockwise direction, letting your neck roll, maybe starting in smaller circles and then expanding into larger ones, just going around and around.
Then reversing the direction and going counter-clockwise and just feeling all that energy.
Then go ahead and tip your chin up.
Now we’ll go back to front into a very gentle leaning back of your head and your neck, and then coming forward, chin to chest.
And then again, leaning back, opening up the throat, opening up the neck, and then exhaling and pulling in down and forward chin to chest.
One more time, just like that.
Just opening up all this energy, really feeling focusing on the energy around your throat, that chakra, just bringing some circulation there and the next exhaling and bringing your chin down to your chest and now lifting your spine back up, and flip your palms so they are facing upward now, open and receptive and especially aware of your chin parallel to the ground. So your throat is open.
We can also be aware of how much our gin drops down because we’re looking at our cell phones or the computer, and just now really feeling this full vibrancy and vitality in the throat, going in all different directions.
Now as we take a deep breath, be aware of this Prana and energy flowing through your throat and down into your belly.
Every time we’re breathing in, we have this passing through the Vishuddha as we have this ability to put a little bit of energy in the tension, into the throat area, and really just in living it with a breath, nice full breaths, and especially paying attention to just expansive energy around the throat as the breath passes down.
And again with the breath comes back up. Another few deep breaths like that, just passing through the throat and up again.
Stay in this heightened awareness right here in the moment, gently breathing in and out.
Setting the Intention for Today
As I introduce our intention down, down into your deepest being truth that on some level you already know from your true self, just echoing the truth inside of you.
I Am able to clearly express my truth and my needs in a loving way.

I Am able to clearly express my truth and my needs in a loving way.
I Am connected to my expression.
I Am connected to love always.
There’s always love and my expression and in my voice I’m firm, but fair and clear in my needs. And I effectively communicate my needs and get my needs met as I honor others’ needs. And I’m able to clearly express my truth and my needs in a loving way.
Letting that integrate, breathing nice deep breaths in and out.
Take another deep breath focusing on all the beautiful energy around your throat. Imagine that you’re charging your throat with beautiful pranic energy. As you inhale, just feeling that energetic focus around the throat, front backsides 360 degrees outward.
Go ahead and bring your hands together into prayer position in front of your heart.
Now the heads take a moment for gratitude. Anything that rises up spontaneously.
