I love talking about this topic, because I’ve seen things shift so much in my own life when I became aware of certain things that I did not know about growing up. Big things! Like energy, like manifesting, like the process creating what I wanted.
We all have so much potential, and yet programming is a very real thing, which is where we continue to play out a certain pattern, involving limiting beliefs that we have somewhere picked up along the way.
I started to dip my toe into creating things, as I started to get more courageous. This happened when I was backpacking and I started to make my way in the world as an adult after I got home from the journey.
I grew up feeling a lot of “not enoughness” in many ways— financially (we did okay but were on the lower end of the fancy place where I grew up), with my looks and really, just in being me. So I didn’t have the perspective that everything was possible.
There was a disruption along the way, when I was put in a different environment of backpacking and was away from reinforced ideas and patterns for years. This allowed me to have the space to learn and expand, which largely came from India and yogic philosophy.
I dared to manifest thing after thing— a travel partner to go around China with, a safe hostel to show up after I got off the bus in Malawi or Mozambique. When I got back to NYC I was in an expanded mental place, and started really diving deep into Yogananda’s Lessons (which you can too access on the Self-Realization Fellowship website), and I dared to manifest a book deal (The Beauty Detox Solution was first!), clients, living as a teacher/blogger/author without having to take side jobs….
And it continues to expand to this day!
Similarly to how I have always taught when it comes to beauty and energy, we DO create everything from the inside out. It is the same with manifesting in other areas, jobs, houses, relationships and so on.
Of course, not everything works out exactly and in the exact timing that we want. There are different factors at play, such as past karma that needs to be worked out, others’ energies and influences, and Spirit’s bigger picture that we don’t know all of!
Though when we take on this more expanded approach, we CAN experience miracles, small and large, because there is a process of expansion with intention and our will.
What You Need to Know About Manifesting Your Goals
There are a few big principles to understand about this process, which I want to go over and share with you about today!
1. Everything starts with formless energy
Sit down at a restaurant and order menu items, read a classic or newer book, watch a show on Netflix, get in your car and drive to get gas…all of these everyday activities, and infinite others, started with ideas. Someone had a thought come in, and they followed that pattern through to create a show, a book, a recipe or whatever.
So whether you want to create a new business right now or seriously upgrade your health, understand that it comes from thoughts and ideas. On the other side, if many things are coming into your life that you may not be so happy with, check in to your energy and what you are putting out in your thoughts. It’s so important to be aware of your moment-moment energetic contributions via your thoughts.
2. Manifestation is the transition from ideas to physical reality
What we think of as “physical” really means more density. The chair and the bar stool are still in dynamic flux, as electrons and subtle energies whirl around in unseen ways, but is at a rate that we can see the forms.
The point is that what we see as the physical world is also malleable and had come from the unmanifested world of pure potential.
3. Repeated vibration creates in the physical
If we want to create something in our lives, we want to reflect on it at times with gratitude, knowing it is ours to be had, and then confidently let it go. We don’t need to obsess or worry, and in fact these are detractors that can slow us down. Lack energy creates the idea that there is a gap, there is space between what we want and where we are.
We don’t want to forget either, and let the energy wither away! We want to keep it alive in our lives, and a way to do that is to reflect with gratitude in our journals or in our prayers regularly.
4. Keeping physical space-holders is a powerful way to support your visualizations
When we were trying to get our farm in Hawaii, and we knew there were other offers on the property, I moved into visualization. I visualized the farm as ours, and our family in there and working with the land. I also started using a lot of bamboo— like bamboo salad tongs that I had gotten in Hawaii, that reminded me of the land. Objects that were physical and that I could touch and feel. I would use them and reflect with love and gratitude, feeling that the farm was already ours. And guess what…it now is!
If there are physical objects that remind you of what you want to manifest, you can place them in your space as intentional space-holders.
I am so passionate about this process! We are all so much more powerful than you can every realize…you have heard this I know, but it’s so great to have a process, tools to really EXPERIENCE that you are a co-create in your life along with Spirit/the Universe.
Manifest Your Goals!
Just as I’ve always done for you (SBO Probiotics, Detoxy, a book and so on ☺), when I want to share something that I think is so important to share, I’ve created something! It’s an incredible Manifest Kit, which is available now!
It includes the most powerful combination of elements to help you bring your goals forward into the world. This experience is specifically designed to include the power of intentional, directed energy (meditation, intention, mantra and visualization), as well as physical symbols and space-holders (crystals). I intentionally chose clear quartz for this kit because it is the purest crystal that can be programmed with a single, focused goal.
Energy precedes physical form, so I can’t wait to see how these tips work in your life!!
