Welcome to our Practical Enlightenment Meditation, where our theme today is Unshakable Peace. I wanted to offer this meditation today because as time goes on, we realize that underneath this chaotic, modern life, underneath all the feelings and emotions and sensations that come and go, there is an access point for peace that is always available to us. And it feels to me like it’s going underneath whatever happening. We think of the surface of life, all the doings and goings.
And underneath that though is this mattress, this beautiful bed of peace, this ocean of peace, however you like to think of it or visualize it or connect with it, there is this place of peace that is always there. And the more we connect to it, it expands in our life. We expand and strengthen our connection to this unshakable piece. And then we can call on it as we move through our day and through our lives and remain in this beautiful place of calmness and equanimity where we can hear our intuition, we can hear our internal guidance moving us forward, and we can make the best decisions and feel the most expansive in our lives.
Guided Meditation
Go ahead now and please take a comfortable seated position, either on your meditation, pillow or cushion, or on your chair, your chosen chair with your feet, nice and flat on the ground.
And then take a moment just to settle in, take some nice deep, full breaths through your nose, and then just coming into the beauty and the sacredness of this present moment.
Start with our hands facing down on your knees or your thighs. And just take a moment and really feel this connection of your hands pressing down on your legs and feeling this grounded energy starting to sink in, coming fully into your body and fully into this moment.
And now we’re going to gently start to move and flex the spine with very slight gentle movements, front and back and seated cat cow.
As we inhale, you’re gonna move your heart forward just opening up through your chest. And then as you exhale, you’re going to contract the heart backward. I’m letting the spine flex shoulders round.
And then just a few moments like this, few rounds inhaling, moving forward. It can be very subtle and slight, or it can be bigger and deeper depending on your spine today, depending on how you feel in your body today, in your energy, just moving forward and back.
We do this now to first of all help create some energetic movement, which afterwards helps to settle the body. In this, these first few moments here, I want you to be aware of your spine and of your center, your deep center, which is beneath all the different behaviors, the fluctuations, the chaos, the fear, the things that take us away from feeling peaceful.
And in there is this deep strength and this deep shanti, this peace inside of us. We start to just feel, oh wow, look at this center deep inside. And then we’ll take one more round and then starting to come into full stillness.
And keeping your hands, palms facing down on your knees or your thighs, start to lift your spine up now so that your chin is parallel to the ground and you feel this deep sense of alignment with your shoulders back and your shoulders over your hips, and feeling the strength inside of you.
Start to take some full deep breaths in this beautiful alignment with your dunda, your spine, the strength of your center, feeling upright but not rigid. There is a softness to strength, to true strength.
There is a softness to peace and the strength that comes from peace.
Take some nice deep breaths in and out through your nose, connecting to this peaceful but deeply strong center within you.
Setting the Intention for Today
Now you can continue your deep breaths as you hear, let’s sink in our mantra, in the I Am form. The I Am the True Self Form speaking deep, deep, deep, deep down to your super consciousness.
I Am steadfastly peaceful.
No matter what arises in my world, my peace comes from the inside and I stay anchored there to unshakeable peace.

Take a moment now. Bring your awareness to your third eye. Imagine a warm white light there, and just feel this pervasive, expansive energy of peace coming from your third eye and spreading through every cell of your being and your body.
Just sit in this beautiful peace for a a moment, breathing in and out nice and calmly.
Take another full deep breath in, and the deepest, most calm, exhale out through your nose, then bringing the hands together in front of the heart.
Pause for gratitude.
Dear spirit, we are so grateful for this anchor, this well of peace that we can always tap into this incredible energy inside of us. We pray for continued strength and blessings over our spiritual efforts as we continue to anchor deeper and deeper into this unshakable peace made expand through our lives.
