It’s that time again…time to make better choices that your body will thank you for. My new Spicy Citrus & Cranberry Blast Recipe will not only give you the afternoon boost of energy you need, but will curb you from buying some of those prepackaged, prebottled, commercial drinks that simply do not count when it comes to high nutrients.
As always, drinking your Glowing Green Smoothie® first thing in the morning (after your hot water & lemon), is critical to ensuring your body can break down and digest your first dose of greens. Then, later in the day, treat yourself to this spicy-zesty smoothie that won’t leave you in a state of slumber.
The Digestible Citrus
If you haven’t read through The Beauty Detox Foods book, then you may have missed how oranges are listed as one of the best beauty fruits that you can include in your routine.
This sweet-tart citrus is super delicious, refreshing, and packed with compounds called flavonoids—which are antioxidants that can neutralize free radicals.
High in vitamin C (a powerful antioxidant), oranges will do wonders in protecting your body from damaging free radicals.
These fruits are also a good source of folate and thiamin—which helps wounds heal and helps hold blood vessels, tendons, ligaments and bone together.
Click here to rid old residue from your body and remove it once and for all!
The De-Bloating Berry…
Yes, the low-creeping cranberry shrub (or vine) has nothing to be so lowly about. With it’s ability to act as a de-bloating agent, cranberries really do act as a natural diuretic—by flushing excessive fluids out of your body.
This potent, natural diuretic stimulates increased kidney function, to help push excess water weight quickly out of the body and create a more lean body quickly.
This is all because of the amazing health-promoting cranberry, not to mention it’s antioxidants, which ranks this berry right up there at the top of the list!
So why not add a shot of unsweetened cranberry juice into your weekly plan, and flush out the effects of bloating…starting with this new smoothie.
The more you stay aware of how your body feels while consuming these beauty foods, the easier it becomes to crave only the best and highest quality of foods. What are you waiting for….? :)
It’s time to blend away….

I’m so going to try this recipe! I’m currently pregnant and think the additional vitamin C will be really helpful!
Congratulations Fiona Ng and thanks for checking out my latest smoothie. Let me know what you think. Lots of love and support to you! ;)
Love it! I made this smoothie for a party yesterday and I wanted something Holiday themed.
It’s very interesting how the first taste is very sweet and cinnamon-y and then the aftertaste is quite sour. Most people who tried it liked it. My brother was the only one who didn’t like it, but he doesn’t like cinnamon. Personally, I think it tastes like Christmas in a glass.
