Hey Beauties,
I’m here to give you a little bit of extra love and support, and some tips for getting back on track! This week is a really important week, because we just had Thanksgiving. I want you to feel amazing, and not spiral the next few weeks out of control, with all the parties and all the events, through the end of the holidays in January, and prevent going down and down in your energy and digestion.
This is a really key week to get back on track, so I have a couple of tips for you guys. Especially if you feel like you ate a little bit heavier, like most all of us did, including myself, over the break! I’ve been on the road for almost two weeks. I was eating gluten and my digestion got off. If you’ve eaten heavier, and then you’re starting to eat lots of leftovers, and sort of been like, “Whatever, I’m just gonna eat this other cookie. Or the rest of this pecan pie, because I’m already off track.”
It’s an important time this week sometime, maybe this evening or tomorrow, to take a BREAK. Sometimes we need that break to cut through, and stop the spiral, and get back on the wagon. I suggest for your break to make a simple hot soup. We have all these recipes on mysolluna.com. that are simple and easy to make. I did this myself last night with veggie broth, lots of veggies, a little bit of lentils, lots of cilantro on top, lots of herbs. Again, lots of ginger.
That nice hot soup is easy to digest. It has fiber. It has minerals. Give yourself the evening, just to have hot soup. I know it’s cold for most of us, so this really works. Hot soup, herbal tea, more ginger tea, which is going to help with metabolism, and digestion, and just opening up the body. Give yourself that evening, just to have that nice simple dinner.
Also, you could do some dry brushing, some Abhyanga. There’s more instructions here on the website. Give yourself a little bit of a physical detox, just to help your lymphatic system cleanse out the toxins. Take a nice hot shower. Again, just clear out before with either a dry brush, or doing it manually. Then meditate, sit. You can get re-centered. Take some deep breaths.
Remember, we have the free meditations here as well, if you need some guided meditation. Just take the evening to chill, and to break that cycle of feeling like everything is spiraling out of control. That’s a really important way just to say, “Hey, no more. This is going to stop right now.” Just to come back into balance.
Consistency is really important you guys. I know we’re in the middle of the holiday season. There’s lots of shopping, and craziness, and activity, and fun. But it’s still important to have your morning ritual intact. To still give yourself that nice foundation. If you feel like, yeah, you’ve even gotten demotivated from that, this break in the evening will set yourself up for feeling light and energized.
Also, take Detoxy+ for your break. You get up, hopefully you eliminate a lot. You feel light. Now you’ve got the little bit of momentum going. Get back into your morning routine. Have your hot water with lemon. You can put more ginger into it.
Make sure you’re taking your Probiotics, especially this time of year. Have your Glowing Green Smoothie®. You can warm it on the counter a little bit, just to make sure it’s closer to room temperature. So it feels a little bit more appealing perhaps, if it’s cold where you live. But just get back into your routine.
I really hope you guys try this little break. Break the cycle! Again, we’ve got lots of different soup recipes here you can check out. But I find that, that nice, hot, filling soup, especially when you’re in this mode of having heavier foods, is still going to be satisfying. But it’s going to be so light and easily digestible. It’s going to get everything going again. Give it a try this week if you can!
I want you guys to feel amazing for your holiday season. I want you to feel really connected, in balance with your body, which is so important because that has such an effect on your mood. Of course, gut health also has an effect on your mood.
Let me know how you do. I hope you guys have an amazing rest of your day, and rest of your week. Remember, I’m always here to support you guys. I’ll see you guys back here very soon.
Lots of love xo,
Kimberly
