I have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. I wake up feeling cranky and don’t want to start the day, it almost feels like morning depression. Do you have any suggestions on how to feel more rested?

Are there any foods or natural sleep elixirs I can drink or eat before bed to help me have a more restful sleep. I find I am often hungry before bed and want to eat something. When I eat too much chocolate before bed I am up all night!

What do you recommend for getting on track for quality sleep while working shift work? I am a police officer and I work rotating shifts, 5 day shifts, 5 evening shifts then 5 night shifts, each separated by around 4 days off… I have 5 kids so on my days off I have to get back into a regular day routine. Sleep definitely suffers! Do you have any tips?
