Your immune system is one of the most sacred protectors of your health and yet, it’s often only thought about when something goes wrong.
At Solluna, we believe that building true immunity comes from living in alignment—nurturing your body, calming your mind, supporting your emotions, and connecting to your deepest self.
In this article, I’m sharing five simple but powerful ways to support health and immunity naturally through the lens of our Four Cornerstones: Food, Body, Emotional Well-being, and Spiritual Growth.
These practices are gentle, holistic, and easy to weave into your daily life. That means no drastic changes required!
1. Support Immunity with Healing Herbs and Spices

Let’s begin with our first cornerstone here at Solluna, Food, which is so foundational to our overall vitality and immune strength.
One of my favorite ways to support immunity in an easy and natural way is by incorporating powerful healing spices into everyday meals and elixirs. These incredible plant allies have been used for centuries, and modern research now confirms their remarkable benefits.
Here are three of my go-to immune-supporting spices you can start using today:
Ginger
Ginger is warming, grounding, and wonderfully supportive for digestion and circulation—two key factors in a resilient immune system. It also helps reduce inflammation and supports lymphatic drainage, helping the body release toxins. I love using fresh ginger in teas and stir-fries.
I’ve been putting this together a lot in tea for years along with lemon juice because the ginger is earthy and feels like this openness, and the cayenne gives a little bit of a punch. You can easily add this to an elixir with hot water. It said to help protect our body against viruses and illnesses. Here’s my to link to my Immunity Tea!
Turmeric
This golden root is famous for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant powers. It can help calm the body’s inflammatory response, which is often elevated during times of stress or illness. I use it daily in my elixirs, especially my 3-Minute De-bloating Turmeric Lemonade Elixir Recipe, a refreshing and powerful tonic that feels like a hug for your gut and immune system.
Cinnamon
Sweet and spicy, cinnamon is not only delicious but also supports blood sugar balance, improves circulation, and offers antibacterial and antiviral properties. It’s a beautiful way to bring warmth and comfort to your body while supporting your immune strength. Try it in my cozy and nourishing Pumpkin French Toast recipe!
What’s beautiful about these spices is that they’re accessible, affordable, and easy to incorporate into your daily rituals!

2. Boost Immunity with Vitamin C- Rich Superfoods
Vitamin C is one of the most powerful nutrients for immune support. This powerful antioxidant plays a key role in protecting your body from oxidative stress, supporting the production of white blood cells, and even shortening the duration of colds and infections.
While citrus fruits are great, superfoods like amalaki (Indian gooseberry) are even more potent. Amalaki is one of the richest natural sources of Vitamin C and supports immunity, digestion, and radiant skin!
You’ll find it in my Glowing Greens Powder®, along with six other nutrient-dense superfoods like moringa and spirulina. It’s a simple way to nourish your body with a powerful variety of greens!
Keeping a variety of greens is super important too!
Eating a variety of greens helps strengthen your immune system by delivering a broader spectrum of antioxidants, phytonutrients, and essential minerals that work together to protect your body and support overall vitality.

3. Prioritize Hydration for Stronger Immunity
We often think of dehydration as a summer issue, but it’s just as common in winter. Cold air, indoor heating, and lower thirst signals can all quietly dry us out. Research shows that even mild dehydration can weaken our immune response and make it harder for the body to recover
My point is, hydration is essential for your immune system! It helps flush out toxins, carry nutrients to your cells, and keep your mucous membranes moist, your body’s first line of defense against viruses!
And it’s not just about water! Foods like cucumbers, oranges, celery, and leafy greens have high water content and help keep your hydration levels up naturally.
Warm elixirs, brothy soups, and herbal teas are also beautiful ways to stay hydrated and grounded this time of year and are so nourishing both body and spirit.
4. Support Cleansing with Supplements
From our body cornerstone perspective, you do want to incorporate proper supplements. I’m a huge fan of eating the right way and living a lifestyle, but there are a few supplements that really will give your body a boost at this time.
Feel Good SBO Probiotics
If there’s one supplement I recommend you take consistently, it’s our SBO Probiotic. Your gut is the home of your immune system, and nurturing that inner ecosystem is essential for feeling vibrant and resilient every day.
It’s great for hair health, for balancing your hormones and for your skin. It’s number one in my opinion!
Feel Good Detoxy
The next supplement I suggest is our Feel Good Detoxy. The cleaner your body is the less hold foreign pathogens, viruses and bacteria can take hold. It just helps to increase the elimination of waste. I highly recommend taking that regularly.
Also, I suggest our Feel Good Digestive Enzymes to make sure you’re absorbing the most nutrition from your food and getting the most immunity that you can out of what you eat.

5. Sleep for Improved Health and Immunity
Sleep is so much more than rest! It’s when your body heals and your nervous system resets. And when it comes to immunity, it’s essential. While you sleep, your body produces proteins that fight off stress and inflammation, helping you stay strong and balanced.
But there’s something even deeper that I want to highlight here, and that’s the way sleep helps us manage stress.
When you’re well rested, you’re far less reactive. The little things that might normally throw you off just don’t have the same grip. You can pause before you respond. You feel more anchored in your body, more able to breathe through life instead of bracing against it.
Gut health plays a role here, too. A balanced gut supports the production of neurotransmitters like serotonin and GABA, which are closely tied to sleep quality and stress levels. So everything is connected, as it always is.
Prioritizing sleep is one of the most powerful ways to support your immune system and create more peace and resilience in your life!
Whole-Body Wellness Starts Within
Your immune system isn’t just something that functions in the background, but a reflection of how you care for your whole self. From the foods you eat, to how you manage stress, to the sleep you prioritize each night, every small choice adds up.
Your body is always communicating with you, and when we create space to listen, healing naturally follows!
