I am a religious GGS drinker, but during the winter time I find it nearly impossible to get myself to drink an ice-cold smoothie when it is 20 degrees outside. Are there any substitutes I can drink or tips to keep drinking it when it is so cold?

Winters are brutal here in Boston. It’s hard for me to get out bed in the morning, let alone force myself to get up to exercise, shower, then go back out again for work. How can I keep my motivation up and keep active when it is practically freezing?

During winter time, I find myself reaching for way more comfort foods than normal. I am not stressing about how my body will look and these foods seem to boost my mood. Less than a few hours later I feel bloated, tired and sad, but find myself repeating this cycle all winter long.

Winter here is especially dark and cold, it’s nearly impossible for me to feel bright and sunny for months. Seasonal depression is real and I would love some tips on how to combat it.
