Why do I feel so guilty when I want to have a girl’s night and have an alcoholic drink? Isn’t it okay to treat ourselves now and then?

After working out and eating healthy all week, I’ve become so strict in not indulging on any treats and feel deprived. I’m sick of not giving myself something to look forward to when I feel I’m at a healthy weight and living a healthy lifestyle. How can I be more balanced in how I handle food, and treats in particular?

The other day my friends wanted to head to the beach early and I felt such guilt about having to skip my morning workout. I worry the day will go by and I won’t make it up later and will gain weight or fall off track. I feel trapped in having to not miss one day of working out. Please help! I’m so tired of worrying so much.

Kimberly, how do you stop yourself from eating a whole bar of chocolate? You say it’s okay to have some healthy dark chocolate but when I start I can’t seem to stop and end up eating the whole bar. How did you find balance when you started this journey?
